About me

My name is Rosie (Rosie Ann Wright) hence ‘RAW’ makeup branding

So where did it all start?

I have always had an obsession with makeup, but more importantly how it makes you feel, how it has the power to make you to grow in confidence, in every aspect!

I have trained with some of the BEST in the business. In 2008 I graduated studying Theatrical Media Makeup where I trained in all aspects of media and fashion makeup. Simultaneously I trained in London working for Christian Dior beauty for over 3 years, perfecting the insider tricks of the trade and latest runway makeup trends. I went on to work on other various counters such as Estee Lauder where I gained a wealth of knowledge working with different skin tones and ages.

Cut to more recently I traveled the UK, as a regional trainer for Charlotte Tilbury, working on fashion shows and training their makeup artists in store where I perfected my signature look.

I have worked with vegan skincare [Comfort Zone] which is a B courp and even launched their organic line into Selfridges.

Cut to now, after a few life style changes, I work as a full time freelance makeup artist covering the South West and internationally.

I am so passionate about CLEAN green beauty because let’s face it, we need to help our planet where ever possible. I am totally obsessed with skincare, as great makeup starts with your canvas – your skin!

Using hybrid only makeup, I’m a believer of polished, naturally fresh glowing skin, creating looks that celebrate the best version of you!

How can I help you on your wedding day?

Being a creative at heart and loving all things colour I have worked with Brides for over 15 years. I just love seeing the end result come together, from the venue décor, outfit to the shadow tones and shoes.

My passion is reflected in the high quality of work, I am renowned for being a perfectionist, I wont stop until I have achieved the perfect look for you.

Bridal prep is imperative, your makeup will sit and last so much longer. I offer individual lashes but my style is to naturally enhance and celebrate your individual beauty from skin deep, I don’t use filters, I’m trained to enhance your best features. Whether that might be making the colour of your eyes pop, sculpting your brows to frame your eyes, enhancing the structure of your cheek bones or going bold with a bright lip or glittery eye, not forgetting the most important step, glowy but photo ready skin – whatever it is, I am here for it all!

When you are in the chair, tell me what feature you love, and I will enhance it.

On the morning of your wedding I am exclusively yours, right up until the moment you leave to get married ensuring touch ups are done where necessary, topping up the bubbles and calming those excited nerves!
